A few days ago I got back Windows into my Heart from the framer. This is a Ruthmarie Hofmann cyberclass that I took a few years back which I have finally finished some months ago. I finally had it framed and it is now on one of ourwalls for us to enjoy :-)
.
Since it has been a long time since my last post about this project, I have also added a photo of the stitched project before framing as a refresher.
Previous posts about Windows into my Heart here.

My finishing pile is slowly diminishing, but there are a bit more finishing to be done before I am completely caught up with my stitched projects.

This is really lovely and such a pretty design, I think that the frame is just such a perfect colour for it and must have been difficult to find, however looking at it closely in my eyes it looks as if one of the mounts/mats has been forgotten for the inner mount/mat maybe a darker colour under the pale pink or even a gold would have made it even more special.
At first glance I thought that you might have framed it yourself and not having a mount/mat cutter only put the pale pink one but knowing that you have a lovely lady who does your framing I wonder if she forgot to put an inner one which I think would have lifted it into another league.
Interesting comments, Terry.
Who else thinks in a similar fashion?
Thanks :-)

Love the colors used in the heart design. The frame is a perfect match!
I think I have to agree with Terry. But it looks lovely as it is. You're really whittling away at those UFOs, aren't you?!
Hi Deb,
I agree with you the frame is a perfect match.
The big question is would 2 mats instead of this only one make this project look so much better?
I would love to hear what everyone is "really" thinking as I love constructive criticisms.

Hi Anne,
Terry and you have said what deep down I was thinking myself.
Would sure like to know how everybody else is thinking about it too.

Oh, WOW! Just...WOW!
Hi Pierrette,
Very pretty!
The framing really enhances the stitching. :-)
I also have a lot of finished projects that need to be finished into something. That's next year's project after I get finished up with organizing the stash.

I love this piece and also have it in my stash for one of these days. I think I agree a double mat would make it phenomenal, although I love the frame you picked!
Hi Beth,
Thanks for those "WOW" :-)

Cynthia & Pat,
I think the frame is just right but it does need a double mat to make the heart pop up a bit.
