Angelina back from the framer

I always feel bad when I take a photo and it just does not show the beauty of the frame and the mat, which has a very faint marble quality to it that makes it just perfect for this project. The frame is the same reddish shade used in Angelina's dress. That is usually the problem whenever we frame something with glass. It is so hard to take a good picture without having all the glare associated with it.
.
I should be able to do a much better job with "Hibiscus and the butterfly" as it won't have any glass over it as I believe that stumpwork looks so much better without glass over it.

This is beautiful and the way the colour is picked out for the frame enhances the delicate elegance of the piece

From I see, you've chosen just the right frame and mat. Well done.

We can see both the marble and the red! Nice choice!

Two lovely pieces you've show-cased here!=)

You *have* been a busy poster of late, haven't you? An idea to consider is condensing into one post. It can be easier to miss stuff when there are several as the tendancy is to think that the top post is today's and anything before that we've already read.

Anyway, keep up all the good work.=)

Terry,

I also think that the framer did a terrific job. I am so very happy with the finished product.

Elisabeth,

I thought about condensing all in one post, but for some reason I don't care too much about doing that. I much rather have each project have its own headline :-)

Since I almost never do that, I sure understand that some reasers might miss some entries :-(
