Angelina: An Ilse Altherr design

Gosh, time flies, it has been a while since I made my first post about Angelina and finally here is my first photo of what I have done so far.
.
As you can see when checking my previous post and looking at the photo of the stitched project that came with the kit, I made the decision to start working the quilt first.
.
I find that I really have to give it my full attention, counting properly and following the chart at all time as it is so easy to loose its place. I don't think that it would be a good time to work on something like this if I had a splitting headache, for example but I do love it though, always have.

This is such a pretty design you have made a good start on it, love the little motifs in each square of the quilt and look forward to seeing them done at a later stage

I love blackwork projects that represents people like this one and also those that tells a little story like Marion's Princess and the Pea. To me they are more fun to stitch than a sampler, for example.

Hi Pierrette,

This is a very pretty design!

I'm looking forward to seeing this project develop over the next few days/weeks. :-)
