Options ... in hardanger: Dale Sokolow, designer

I have decided to completely finish this hardanger this morning before starting anything else so have taken my best little scissors (German brand) and started the task of cutting very carefully all around the border twice, the first time as close as possible but not too much and then a second time, being very careful as I was getting very close to the border.

This is not a very big piece, only approx. 7.5 large by a little over 5 inches high, but is so cute. Just love it.

Now, on to my next project.

That has got to be the coolest piece of Hardanger I have EVER seen! I think the solid white ones are pretty, but they just don't grab me like this one does! Love it!

Beautifully stitched and beautifully finished, the choice of colours is just perfect and this is one of the nicest and elegant pieces of hardanger that I have ever seen, well done.

I am looking forward to seeing your next project

Congratulations on your finish! This was one of my favorite GCC's :) You did an awesome job on it, and the colors are beautiful!

Cyndi,

I have to agree with you, that design was absolutely beautiful and so much fun to work on.

Terry,

The colors chosen in that design made it so very relaxing to work on. Must say that normally those are not exactly my first choice of colors but that ash pink with the thread colors was just a delight to work with.

Terry,

I do love that piece very much and I can now see it on display every single day (big grin)

I have another design from that same designer to work on and it is just as lovely.

Cindy,

I agree with you, that is one of my favorite GCC also.

Still have many other GCCs to finish though. One day at a time as they say and perhaps I will get there.
