Gosh, I am so happy to be stitching again. It is a real joy. I had not realized how much I was missing it :-)
.
Yesterday, I stitched a little more on Gay Ann's Patriotic Heart, working on the right side, adding some red horizontal lines of different thicknesses together with some blue and white edging.
.
Very little threads are necessary for this little project: Blue Fyre Werks, White Kreinik Tapestry Braid, Blue Fine Braid, Red Impressions and some Anchor white Perle cotton.
.
A little more to do on the right side and I will be all done. It is really a quick project. I bet somebody could do it in one day if they put the right amount of time.

Hi Pierrette!
So glad you're back, I enjoy your blog and admire your stitching; have been wondering where you were. The heart is beautiful. It's true, if I don't stitch, for even as little as two or three days, I really miss it's calming effect.

Terry,
I just love this design and can't wait to do more of Gay Ann's little hearts. They are just so cute.

Hi Cynthia,
It is good to be back and you won't regret purchasing it as like always it looks much better in person than on the photos.

Hi Madonna,
You are so right, stitching has a calming effect unless when you strike a bad patch, which normally does not happen often.

That's lovely Pierrette. And so appropriate for this time of year.
Hi Margaret,
I agree with you and when I saw it on Gay Ann's website, I thought it was a great idea and I could not resist it :-)
