Shalimar: 8 out of 9 sections completed

I think that this is an awful photograph, but unfortunately it will have to do until I complete the middle section and then scan properly instead of using my digital camera. At least it gives some idea of what has been done up to now.
.
It is funny because my husband is supervising this one very closely as he thinks this will become his own little pillow (lol).

This has worked up really quickly with a lot of hard work from you and it looks really lovely, I look forward to seeing the middle section finished and am sure it will make a really beautiful cushion

Hi Pierrette,

"Shalimar" is looking just beautiful!

You've made a lot of progress on this project since you picked it up again. Most be a wonderful feeling to know that you are close to being done!

I think I would have to frame or turn it into a tray as I would be worried that if I made it into a pillow it would be damaged after all of that hard work. But then I have two teenagers in the house and it would probably be me who would spill something on the pillow!!! :-)

This is lovely. It has been a while since I visited and I am impressed with how it has changed. Think you should get your husband to stitch his own!!

Yes, the end is near and this will be a big day as this is my oldest UFO and is probably between 10 and 15 years old. I think that is terrible to procrastinate that long on something but on the other end it also says that I don't give up (big smile)

I will tell my husband like we tell children "Look but don't touch"
